So far today, we have baked bread, cinnamon rolls, eaten the pasta salad from yesterday, and started our garden! We peddled over to the Hood Street House to borrow a shovel and stopped at Safeway on the way home to get seeds. We spent the whole afternoon digging, among other things...
Our compost has a new home! We're just hoping something will eventually grow from it, because we weren't very careful about what went in and what stayed out to feed to Laura's chickens at her other home.

Wasn't it glorious to be gardening this weekend! Food for the soul followed by huge winds and cold, but a fresh memory to sustain 'til the next 70 degree & sunshine day. Looks like you guys were having a great time. Love, Ma
Oh gardening! Oh sweet soul! I can't wait to be in beautiful Oregon gardening again. Saipan's soil is lacking, hugely.
