George Fox, too close to home

We had similarly blatant and horrible things happening on our campus a couple of years ago, and it really makes me wonder what causes this behavior, and how honest we are when we speak for the masses and say "we're past that, we're ready, we've moved on." There is still something amok. And not that Christianity is an immediate guarantee for love and kindness, but the hypocrisy is overwhelming and ought to be embarrassing. Which also gives me pause about how much we associate ourselves and take responsibility for our brothers and sisters, and how much we can disassociate and separate our beings from their actions.
