2009 Conference Champs!

Our women's and men's track teams swept conference, and we got to watch! Maggie, Becky and I made the trek to Forest Grove, Oregon, home of Pacific University for the meet on Saturday. We didn't see much of the competition, but enjoyed the awards ceremony and an evening in Portland with buddies afterward.

Josh and Tristan jumped in the car with us instead of riding the bus back to Salem. We headed to Portland to meet Jenne, a good friend who graduated last year and has been living and working in Chicago. 'Twas a great evening!

We managed to find Judith as well. She's a good egg, as Mom would say.


I've decided that this whole graduating and dispersing to different parts of the country bit will be bearable. It's pretty fun to have friends in assorted places--what better reason to travel than to see loved ones and share our lives?
