Mags & Lark do California

episode one:

We left Salem about 11:45am on Sunday, stopped to pick up a 12volt converter so we could generate power for the iHome which is connected to the iPod which pumps out our sweeeeet tunes! We traveled south without a single problem and landed in Redding, California in the early evening. We were greeted by Maggie's grandparents, Frank and Shirley with cold beer, hot Tilapia, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, and an even hotter tub with jets and glow lights. Aaaahhh the life. They were just too charming to leave so we spent the night in Redding before we continued south to Berkeley. We've been touring the city(ies) since Monday afternoon with Maggie's cousin, Claire and friends. The freeways are absolutely overwhelming but the city is charming and very alive. We refuse to admit that the air hasn't reached 70 degrees as we continue to wear shorts and fat shades, soaking up the sun's rays and strange looks from the locals.

More details soon to come, complete with pictures and personal anecdotes. Today we continue south, destination: Venice Beach! Corb has been kind enough to let us stay at the "Hotel Guacamole" while he helps Michael & Chad & the kids move into a new place in Florida.

Peace and Love from Cali!
