No rhyme or reason, just pictures.

Lots of holes to fill in! The first few pictures are from Isla de Cabras, an old fort that was used for everything from a military outpost to a holding spot for lepers. We visited the Bacardi factory later the same day and were pretty disappointed by the tour of the factory. We were hoping to see the actual machines and get a better idea of the rum-making process, but ended up watching a product placement video and miniature models of the barrels and carbon tanks. Regardless, it was a beautiful day and we got 2 free drinks with the tour. :) Cuba libre!

















We visited the Arecibo Observatory this morning. Again, we got very little explanation about what the dang thing does... something science-y, planets, stars, radio waves... very expensive and difficult to build/maintain. Anyway, here are some photos!
