Wet and Dry Forests

Not very much lecturing or intellectual speak while we were tromping through the forests the last two days, but some great photos and even better times! We sweated through our clothes at the Yunque rain forest yesterday (Monday) and again at the Guánica dry forest today. We stopped at Guánica bay for a quick colonial history up til the 1920s (woah!) and were rewarded with a couple of hours at the beach this afternoon.

Here are some noteworthy pics:

Termites!

Bees!

Beach!

Nacho?! La verdad? Que curioso! Chika, Jared, and I think it's great that you're exploring what's on/off shore. Looks like a beeeeautiful place for sure! We saw two black bears in Yellowstone...big deal now that we've seen that termite nest!
