No Laboring Weekend

Little Miss Maggie came to town for Labor Day Weekend, so, naturally, we capitalized on every bit of time we had together. The days looked a little something like this:

Friday night: Maggie, Becky, Owen, and Larkin do Portlandia.
Saturday: sleep in and head toward Lincoln City. We enjoyed the beach, a tasty dinner, and the pool at the Pelican Inn.
Sunday: drive to Tillamook for the Cheese Factory tour... little bit of a disappointment, but now we know! The drive up 101 is absolutely gorgeous. From Tillamook we made our way to Portland to burn a few hours before Maggie's train left for Seattle. We stumbled upon Art in the Pearl, an impressive display of all kinds of artwork. I ate my first Veggie Pup (a vegetarian corndog from Pronto Pup). We played a short game of picture scavenger hunt, trying to find Kristen and Samantha at the fair... success!

The best parts will remain a secret, but I can share some pictures. What happens during the no laboring weekend... well... you know the rest. :)
